Semyon Reznichenko: Russia nationalists-like intellectuals often discuss Russian ethnicity renaissance, Russian mass protests against Caucasian migrants and guest workers. They believe Russians soon start fighting for ethnic Russian state.
Is this real?
To my opinion they are close to national self-destruction and assimilation. Any Russian usually feels absolutely alone among compatriots and cannot find a support. Modern Russian aims the survival but individually, this is not collective survival. Thus he has to adapt to circumstances and assimilate in any collective.
Russians can survive in territories with non-Russian authorities only in case if their preservation will be a policy, for example an apartheid-like policy.
